Featurette – Warner Bros.

Worked closely with the filmmakers in London to order scans from the original film negative, acquire the latest and greatest visual effects.  Also worked with the studio to find the highest quality footage from the older films and interviews with cast and crew.

Built everything in HD, using dozens of sources of varying qualities, making sure that everything looked as good as possible.

Worked directly with the filmmakers and the feature VFX team to get the latest and greatest effects as well as scanning shots from the original film negative.  Rebuilt every cut, every transition, every color effect from scratch in HD.

Built everything using the original RED camera files in 2K in log color space. Every transition, effect, whip pan, sizing change, color effect, etc. was rebuilt from scratch.

Recreated this music video in HD, including pulling shots from multiple sources including dailies. Color corrected and de-noised almost every shot.

Rebuilt all of the picture in picture, transitions, effects, sizing, etc.

Recreated all of the effects and transitions in the process of onlining the trailer in HD, while communicating with the filmmakers to receive the final VFX shots.

This film was completely written, shot on the Canon 5D and 7D, VFX & graphics completed, edited, mixed and delivered within a forty-eight hour time frame.

DISCO DETECTIVES was selected as one of the best films of San Diego, as well as winning the award for best musical score. It was also the runner-up for the Audience Award in our premiere screening group.
